USBP/CBP/WHSR Industry Academy 2015

WHSR Launches Border Patrol Industry Academy – 2015
Program to Kick Off in Washington, DC October 14-15

The Washington Homeland Security Roundtable, in conjunction with the U.S. Border Patrol, is proud to announce the launch of the Border Patrol Industry Academy 2015. The Border Patrol Industry Academy is an unprecedented, in-depth, one year program designed to strengthen Industry collaboration and knowledge of the Border Security mission. It will consist of quarterly sessions. The four sessions, in order, include an opening session at Border Patrol Headquarters led by Chief Fisher and his Senior Staff, selected Southwest and Northern Border Sector tours, and lastly, a training and a graduation ceremony that will take place at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico.

This Inaugural Class is reserved for 50 Senior Industry Executives at the level of VP (or commensurate title) and above. The goal is to start the program with Executives with broad organizational authority and responsibility, who can share comprehensive Industry knowledge, and be able to share Border Security knowledge back across their organization. The one year program is organized such that USBP knowledge and understanding is built with each successive quarterly session, so in that spirit, the Executive is making a commitment for the entirety of the program.
