WHSR has invited Matt Gilkeson, TSA CTO/CDO/CAIO to discuss his role and objectives across TSA, both continuous improvement in operational processes and ways to enhance passenger experience.  

Gilkeson is tasked with several critical objectives. He is set to establish and implement robust data governance frameworks, a move that is poised to revolutionize the handling and utilization of data within the agency. Additionally, he will champion the integration of advanced technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI), aiming to elevate transportation security to new heights. His role is also pivotal in promoting efficient data sharing across various facets of TSA, enhancing the agency’s cohesive functioning and response capabilities. Gilkeson is also responsible for steering the development and deployment of cutting-edge security technologies.
