Shannon O’Keefe

Shannon is a Director of Government Affairs at Motorola Solutions, Inc (MSI). Shannon’s deep knowledge of the policy and fiscal pressures driving Federal spending enables her to advise senior MSI executives in understanding key trends that may impact MSI’s bottom line while pinpointing opportunities to succeed in a constrained budget environment. Prior to joining Motorola Solutions, Shannon served as Senior Advisor for Member Services and External Affairs for the House Appropriations Committee. She also served as Deputy Associate Director for Legislative Affairs for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Her subject matter areas included defense, homeland security, and international affairs issues. She also worked as the principal liaison to Congress for regulatory and information technology matters. Prior to joining OMB, Shannon served as a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee for Homeland Security and Subcommittee for Commerce, Justice and Science. She also served as a Professional Staff Member on the Senate Budget Committee.  

Shannon has a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University
