WHSR hosted a tour of the TSA Systems Integration Facility (TSIF). The TSIF is part of a three phase testing process within the TSA Testing Life Cycle. The main purpose of the TSIF is to test system requirements in the Qualification Testing phase. Once testing results are final, System Evaluators at the TSIF decide if the tested equipment met its desired outcomes, TSIF T&E Transportation Security Equipment includes: Passenger Screening Program (PSP), Electronic Baggage Screening Program (EBSP), Explosive Detection Systems (EDS), Intermodal Screening Program (ISP), Test Article Program (TAP), Innovative and Emerging Technology (ITF).The TSIF has gone through recent changes and we were able to see the system and technology updates throughout all the areas.
