In October we partnered with CBP OFO, TSA, and Border Patrol in Miami to host a Miami Security Trip. We toured the Miami International Airport and saw firsthand the cutting edge security measures and technology in place that protect our airports. OFO provided information and allowed us to observe the new Entry/Exit biometric scans for both an inbound and an outbound international flight. The Border Patrol gave us an overview of their mission and tour of their area of operations for the Miami sector. They also showed us the challenges they face in preventing trafficking of drugs and humans via the Florida coastline which covers a distance roughly equal to the Southwest Border.
